The Power of Your Subconscious Mind

by Joseph Murphy

In simple words, the book teaches that our subconscious mind is like a silent partner, always listening and responding to

our thoughts, beliefs, and emotions. Whatever we feed it — well or bad — it accepts without question and reflects back

into our lives. While going through every page, I realised that I am getting answers and clarity on many questions and

confusions, I had in mind. Some of the major learnings, I experience while going through this book are as follows.

1. Your thoughts become your reality - If you constantly think about lack, fear, or failure, your subconscious mind

will turn those into real-life experiences. But if you feed it with thoughts of success, health, and happiness, it will

create those for you too. I realized I had been unknowingly programming my mind with worries and doubts!

2. The subconscious doesn’t argue — it obeys.

- What amazed me is that the subconscious doesn’t analyse or ask

questions — it simply accepts what you repeatedly say or imagine and the same get rooted in our subconscious

mind and give the results according the thoughts sown in there.

3. Prayer is a mental technique, not just a religious act.

- One of the most interesting parts was how Dr. Murphy

explained prayer as a way of focusing the mind. It's not about pleading or begging, but about believing and affirming

what you desire. I found this very powerful and understood the deep meaning of praying.

4. Health, relationships, money — everything is influenced by your subconscious.- The book gives plenty of real-

life stories where people overcame illness, found love, or became wealthy by changing the way they thought and

spoke to themselves. It made me realize how much control I actually have over my own life.

Final Thoughts & biggest takeaway:

The Power of Your Subconscious Mind is not just a book — it’s a guide to self-awareness and self-mastery. It gave me

detailed understanding on how much influence I have over my life by simply changing the way I think and believe. This

isn’t a one-time read. It’s the kind of book we revisit again and again as we grow. I realized the power of Visualizing and

at the same time this book shared lot of different techniques on, how to sow a positive thought, practice it and convert it

into reality. And most importantly, I remind myself that my outer world is shaped by my inner world. It’s not magic. It’s

about mind-set, faith, and discipline. I also decided to practice intentionally and regularly, that I must think before I speak

— especially to myself.
